SEPTEMBER 20

Background:  Finding a job that relates to what you value most, or what you consider to be your priorities in life, will lead to greater personal satisfaction.  Values can include the importance you place on time spent with family and friends, financial security, power, prestige, independence, flexibility and creativity.  Not everyone values the exact same things.

Students will create a COLLAGE, using photos from magazines from home, Internet, or even drawings and poster board (11 x 14) of their values and be prepared to share with the class on Wednesday, September 22nd.

This activity will reinforce what you feel is most important to you when choosing your "career"
