The difference betwen a job, career, and occupation. To me it's just something you have for just mean while for me to get a pay check and for any extra time i have a career is something long term something i have to look forward to and something to fall back on and as for an ocupation is equal to a job an activity i engage my spare time with, like volunteer work.

  12. Chloe Fisher,
We work so that we can get money to provide for ourselves, and our families. Everything revolves around money in this world, so you need it to survive. People get money by working at a job and growing more experienced to gain a better job/career and recieve more money. People also get money by selling their belongings or other ways that are secret to them.

The difference between a job, career and occupation is that a job is a work place that you may not like, and you're not there for long, but it's mostly for getting money and gaining experience at that point in time. A career is a workplace that you enjoy, and that you got education and experience from to get to that point. An occupation is an activity that someone is involved in, so it's basically in the middle of a job and a career.

Unskilled labor- a workforce that doesn't require any experience of that type of working.
example: My current employer hired me under unskilled labor.
Semi-skilled labor- a workforce that requires minimal experience of that type of working.
example: My best friends current employer requires semi-skilled labor from her.
Professional labor- a workforce that requires complete experience of that type of working, or career choice.
example: My dads workplace requires professional labor from him for him to get the job/career.
The differences between these 3 terms is the amount of experience that someone needs to get the job or career they're in search of.
